Thursday morning, September 19, 2019, Independence City Manager Tom Pessemier and Monmouth City Manager Scott McClure welcomed area providers to Polk County Fire District One fire station in Independence. The group reviewed the timeline for forming a local continuum of care, asked questions about the organizational structure, and offered comments and suggestions on the draft governance charter. Several representatives had not attended either of the first two meetings (in bold).
