The Mid-Willamette Valley Homeless Alliance has released its 2025-230 Strategic Plan.
Mid-Willamette Valley Homeless Alliance Strategic Plan Summary
The Mid-Willamette Valley Homeless Alliance is committed to creating a community where homelessness is rare, brief, and non-recurring. Our Strategic Plan outlines a shared vision and clear roadmap for addressing homelessness across Marion and Polk counties. Grounded in local data, community input, and evidence-based practices, this plan reflects our region’s collaborative effort to strengthen housing stability, expand access to services, and advance equity for all populations experiencing homelessness.
Our strategic priorities focus on five core areas: strengthening Coordinated Entry, increasing the availability of affordable and supportive housing, improving system performance and accountability, advancing racial equity, and enhancing partnerships with service providers, local governments, and individuals with lived experience. Through these strategies, we aim to reduce barriers, increase housing placements, and promote long-term success for those most impacted by housing instability.
This plan is a living document that guides our work, informs our funding decisions, and helps align efforts across the Continuum of Care. We are dedicated to transparent progress, continuous learning, and community-driven solutions. Together, we are working to build a more responsive and effective homeless response system that reflects the values and needs of our region.
