Development Council

During the summer of 2019, the Mid-Willamette Homeless Initiative Steering worked to form a Development Council that would guide the formation of a regional continuum of care. They anticipated that Council members would be parties to an agreement that included commitments to provide a financial or other substantial support needed to cover expenses. Members of the Development Council were City of Independence, City of Keizer, City of Monmouth, City of Salem, The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, Marion County, Polk County, Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency, Salem-Keizer School District, Union Gospel Mission of Salem, and United Way of the Mid-Willamette Valley.

The first meeting of the Development Council was held September 24, 2019.
